Notes app

So glad to finally have this app. Liked everything about it. Took copious notes book on the outline and on the yellow note pad. Clicked done and.... VERY SAD to learn that all my notes disappeared. Checked on my note pad not there. Please let me know what I need to do differently to save my notes. My notes are very important to me in addition to the outline. Please help!!

Also cut off the 2nd - how to keep my resolutions- very bottom of second page.
